HHAW: Comic concept

This happen right after is saw the storyboard on HHAW DVD the one titled "Horton's Nightmare" were Horton imagination gets the better of him and these tentacles with teeth popped out and scared him.

And of course I can't help but experiment with it for my story comic about Horton and Ned almost losing there friendship.

This was just one of many things that happen to them thanks to a evil Who wanted to take over Whoville.

He dose this by playing and manipulated Ned into thinking Horton is untrustworthy and too dangerous if he stays in Whoville and he can get hurt around him so he created this tentacles thing and attack him as one of his plains to get Ned to distrust Horton.

Here's what's happening in this pic:

1. Ned and Horton went too the storage garage to get something Ned opens the door and went in while Horton got distracted by a butterfly.

As Ned looked around he finds the box he was looking for and opened it only to be grabbed by a tentacle and pulled of the ground.

He struggled to get out but was soon surrounded by more tentacles that open there mouths showing there teeth.

2. Horton hears Ned's cries for help and look in to see Ned hanging off the ground by theses things.

3. Horton runs in to help but a tentacles pops up from behind him grabbing his legs stopping him in place.

4. Horton try to get loses. Ned couldn't see the tentacles around Horton's legs and thought he just stopped like that on purpose.

Upset and scared Ned called out to him, Horton tries again to get loses but it was to late.

The teeth bearing things bit down on Ned and started to rip his fur off and all Horton can do is watch in horror as Ned cried out for him.

5. When the tentacles have finish rendering him hairless(except his furry head and half of his chest) and ripping his tie causeing his crest to fall to the ground the tentacles vanish into a puff of smoke and Ned drop to the ground. The tentacles holding Horton vanish as well, quickly he rushed up to Ned to see if he was OK.

Ned on the other hand was far from OK, he was humiliated and what's even more worst he taught Horton purposely didn't save him, he was so mad and stricken with tears that he didn't even want to look at Horton.

I actually was going to draw some comic page of this particular scene. The part with the fur getting riped by the tentacles but I'm go to work around the shadows on the boxes of Ned getting his fur torn off will stay the rest I'm going to have to work with to make it less brutal. But i'm thinking about this whole thing before I do anything with it.

Plus after this was a scene idea I had of Horton in a tent that Ned put out beside his house since Horton was visiting him in Whoville.

Jojo came into the tent with a big bowl of soup and Horton ask him how Ned was doing after the attack.

That's pretty much one idea I had some of others are still in the works plus I'm still work out the Prologue pages to this hole story.

And NO! Ned DID NOT! get rape in this pic!
