I did each picture on a different Photoshop flies and put it all together on one flie and put the two pics in it’s own layer of the background, then I added text and boarder.

The Horton Pictures
Horton was fun to work with his color schemes was easy to use and shad, the background was not too hard to color all I had to do is look at the colors of the jungle in the trailer and play around with the colors tile I get the colors I want then I put in details like grass, shads and highlight.

The Mayor Picture
I did the background on this the same way I did on Horton, How ever when I came to coloring the Mayor it got tricky manly because of his fur tone.

I know it’s in two colors of cool brown but when I look at the trailer the color changes when he’s in a different lighting. So I have to experiment on the tones until I came to this color and put it on him then I add in the fur details and finish up with the highlights and shadings.

All in all this was a great fanart to work on I think I going to do some more Horton fanart and some other Dr. Susess characters.
