Mad Flair

Hello again KJ, you requested a fair critique and allow me to uphold your request and give your picture a thorough look-see as well as giving you my 2 cents on the picture.

Vision) When I first take a look at this pic, I don't see really Flair looking mad, I see him perhaps looking more "frustrated" as he appears to be sticking his long head/neck inside something, like a hole. Perhaps he was chasing some annoying little critter that's making a mockery of him? Again that's how I see it. The steam coming from his nostrils is a nice touch.

Originality) Even though I'm well familiar with Flair the dragon, its your style of drawing that in my opinion makes him a very unique dragon, he does have that fox-like look that you intended to have and he's just as expressionable and lovable as the rest of your cast, even though this pic isn't too too original, I can tell you were practicing his emotions here so I think you got the overall idea down pact though again I feel like he's not mad, more frustrated then angry, like he has his teeth gritted so he doesn't go ape split on whoever he's chasing.

Technique) I gotta give a high mark here, ArtRage looks like a very fun program to use and I see you use to it like a bat taking it's first flight =3 The shading looks nice and your light source is good too as well as the shading. Though my opinion is that the shading could be slightly darker because if he's inside a dark environment, the lighting wouldn't be as strong here.

Impact) Im giving it 4 out of 5 stars, cause you did a very nice job and you conveyed a nice expression on Flair and I almost want to jump in and try to counsel him so he doesn't blow off anymore unnecessary steam here, heh heh.
