Paper Work for Zaltag

As another part of his leadership task, Zaltag has to signed and approved documents given by the elders. They want to see how he handles it on his own before they decide on getting him and assistant.

Zaltag thought it would be just little document to do so he didn't think it was a big deal, but he was in for a shock when the elder came in with mountains of documents for him.

Zaltag can handle some of it but this is just too much for him to do on his own. This is one of the things that cause Celia to be his secretary to help him.

This is another idea I had about some of the task Zaltag has to do as the Leader of Zoogville not only dose he have to be all over the town he also have to do this at lest ones a week.

I was inspired by the idea that and person who runs things have to do paper work they have to approve and sign, I’m sure we all have done that at some time in our lives, and I got into thinking how it would look for Zaltag if he had to do it.

At first this was an experimental piece but in the end I desided to keep it as a concept for my character Zaltag as well as to show his expression of worry and stress. I also wanted to do another pic of Zaltag in his office since I liked how I did the design of it in the comic.

This image took one day to draw out cause of perspectives and inking it it’s been a long time since I done a line work like using hatching to show detail I was going to put crosshatching on the chair but I didn’t it look alright whit out it.

The next day I scanned it in the computer to clean it and add colors to it. As you can see I use the same shading that I used for my other art “Through the Thorns” [link]

All in all this was a pretty good work.
