Description

not sure if I should continue building this character due to all the hate (Racism) Alicorn OCs get.

"love and tolerate" my ^@%#@&$%&$!

Plus alicorns existed long before MLP and I'm not talking just G4 I'm talking about before G1 was even made so yeah.
Of course back then they where called Winged unicorn when the late 20th century came round they where then called Alicorns.

And for My Oc here she's not a princes, God or Over powered! She has a levitation magic that she uses to handle art tools for her art.

And for how she can be a alicorn well When I first made her I thought making an alicorn was ok I had no idea about the pony Racism in this fandom before hand.

But then I remember the episode of MLP "Baby cakes" and two Earth pony's giving birth to a unicorn and a Pegasuses due to a questionable gene! So who's to say this won't create a alicorn it seem very possible and theses type of ponys aren't powerful they're just like regular Unicorn ponys that just happen to have wings due to genetic mutations. I bet no one have ever think of that possibility.

I believe you should develop her even more and just tell those people to buck off. The stereotype with alicorns is probably basically from the fact people always see them as a deity and not a normal pony and many assume that there must be some form of godly power associated with them otherwise it not a actual character or they are some high-blooded royal figure. Sometimes I can agree because of the 'marry-sues' mostly because those are often used for egotistical reasons. But that should mean that there can't be an alicorn that is also just a normal pony or just a unicorn who happen to have wings. Yeah I think back then people didn't really think much about it until the FIM lore began to kick in (correct me if I'm wrong). The point is this: do what you want to do and don't worry too much about what other people say. I kind of wish I learn this long ago, sometimes it pays to not worry to much about what they say, criticism is nice but not when it is use to maliciously bash people out of spite.
